This student development started as a joint effort, with Coyne Group acting as an advisor to a property development firm. They approached Mike requesting guidance on the correct land to purchase for a contemporary student block. The Coyne Group identified a central location in Cardiff and purchased the land unconditionally. Cardiff city council were supplied with the development plans, with permission being granted 6 months later. The building consisted of 51 student apartments which were a mixture of studio apartments and cluster flats. Each room had its own Roca en-suite which provided a luxury feel to these dwellings. Each studio was designed to feel bright and modern, taking into consideration study & relaxation time. Each studio apartment was completed with appliances and high quality fixtures and fittings making these spaces highly desirable among the student population of Cardiff. When it came to exiting the project and providing our investors with their return, we did so by selling a sister project in tandem with Alwyn Court, presenting them as a property portfolio. This process was longer than our usual exit process as we filled the apartment blocks for two separate semesters.
